Reshape How You Lead

“If we want to reignite innovation and passion, we have to rehumanize work.”

- Brené Brown

We need brave leaders. Especially now. In a time of uncertainty, disconnection, isolation, and fear.  More than ever, people need to feel connected to other people at work.  Being connected to the job itself, the project, or the product is not enough. Employees don’t stay loyal to companies, they stay loyal to leaders who support them and show up in their lives whole-heartedly. What does that mean? It means that employees and teams thrive when leaders have humility, curiosity, self-awareness, empathy and compassion.

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage building program. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 24-hour Dare to Lead™ program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put the Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

  • Feedback is feared not valued (therefore growth is not embraced)

  • Teams and individuals feel disconnected

  • Problem solving is more difficult and less productive

  • People are less courageous to take risks AND risk is the birthplace for creativity, innovation and success

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • To learn courage tools that are teachable, measurable, and observable

  • Strategies to integrate these tools into your life today

  • Opportunities and exercise for self-reflection

  • Connection with others

  • Exclusive videos of Brene Brown sharing her research

"I really love the teachings of Brené Brown and have become such a better manager with so much more clarity, kindness, empathy that has lead me to great success since I took this training. I was actually promoted to Director and much of that is due to her teachings. Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind (mind-blowing, simple, effective). Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. Now I embrace it - super powerful lesson that I can now pass onto folks I mentor".

  • Gino Belleci, Director of Workplace Experience, Sift

"Rachel & Grace’s “Dare to Lead” workshop is in the books. One of the best workshops I have ever participated in. It was an outstanding deep dive in courage, vulnerability, shame and empathy not only useful for the workplace but for all aspects of life. One of my favorite parts of the workshop was the group work. Learning from the other participants was a highlight. The facilitators guided us through difficult and touching moments. True professionals who know their craft. I would recommend this workshop for anyone who wants to live an authentic life that is genuine and real."

  • Jane Friedman

"I thought the workshop was wonderful. It got me out of my comfort zone and I especially appreciated the empathy training sessions and the concept of creating boundaries. I would definitely recommend this workshop to friends and colleagues".

  • Reuben Torenberg, Vice President @ CBRE

"Rachel came to our company and facilitated two workshops; Rumbling with Vulnerability and Giving and Receiving Feedback. And, what happened post the workshop was just what we needed. The conversation around vulnerability at work began. Employees started to understand what vulnerability was and wasn't and how to apply new skills to the workplace. During Rachel's presentation, and after, it was apparent that people were needing and wanting to have the dialogue. People want to know how to show up at work with more authenticity, connection, and courage, and thanks to Rachel, those conversations are now being had across departments. I would highly recommend Rachel to any team or leader who wants to dig in and learn self-awareness, the importance and power of emotion, and how to form stronger relationships.”

  • Sharon Lim, Senior Manager (large Bay Area tech company)
